It is an incontrovertible fact that the President and Vice President can fund their feeding with their salaries and mindboggling allowances.

Since this is the case, the 2021 budgetary allocation for the same should be reviewed because such is not only frivolous but also reckless and insensitive. 
In the same vein, other budgetary allocations that smack of wastefulness, such as the one for travels should also be reviewed.

Pick pocketing is now a means of livelihood for the young and old in  major cities  in Nigeria.

Young men and women, including the aged are noticeable at bus stops and other public places such as markets and events centers plying their trade. 

At bus-stops they are always out waiting for their victims, who board buses, tricycles, motorcycles and cabs. Sadly, their collaborators are in the law enforcement agencies

Equity and Justice is not a priority in a sizable number of nations. Indeed. 

Those in charge  at all levels ought to learn form the above. Prehaps.

On Wednesday, 15 April,2020, the Managing Director of Conac Opticals(Nig) Limited, Eze(Dr.) Anozie distributed financial palliatives to residents of Ososami road, Ibadan, Oyo state Nigeria.

According to Eze(Dr.)Anozie this gesture was borne out of the need to cushion the negative effects of the partial lock down in the state, as a result of the coronavirus pansdemic, on the residents.

''I sat down and thought of it, how are people coping in these critical times, so God gave me  the directive to gather the downtrodden and give them the financial palliatives. In the light of this, I appeal to every business venture in the state to replicate this gesture in their various locations in different parts of the state'', Eze(Dr.)Anozie submitted.

The people of Sudan want good governance and they are doing all it takes to ensure this is achieved.

Indeed, there are several other countries, whose citizens are also agitating for good governance, hopes are high that same shall be achieved sooner than expected.

The love for power and the desire to remain in power by African leaders has been identified as the reasons why violence and corruption have become the vogue in developning countries.

This assertion was made recently,  by the Consul-General of Tuvalu in the United Kingdom (UK), Sir Dr Iftikhar Ahmed Ayaz, while delivering his keynote address  at the Ahmadiyya Peace Conference in Accra, Ghana.

"This one word, power, sums up the ordeal of most developing countries. It is the struggle for power, the seizure of power, the concentration of power in the hands of one individual or group, and the subsequent refusal to relinquish or share power that has sucked these countries into a vortex of violence, repression, tyranny and corruption," Sir Ayaz declared.

The people of Ogoniland in Rivers state, Nigeria are hopeful that repreive shall soon come their way in terms of  the clean up  of the oil spillage by multinational companies, which have for several years deprived the people of  healthy living

The People of the South East Geo-Political zone of Nigeria are optimistic that the present administration will complete the second  Niger Bridge before the end of the year.

Cholera has claimed the lives of 61 persons in Yobe state, Nigeria, while the state government disclosed that  there are  906 fresh cases.

However, the Federal Government is yet to intervene to save the situation. Other states in Nigeria are now apprehensive.

The people of Kogi  and several other states in Nigeria are contending with flood that has wrecked havoc. Property running into millions of Naira have been lost. This is addition for an unspecified number of human lives that are yet to be accounted for. 

However, it seems government is helpless about what to do, for the people who are full of grief and bitterness
