Students in Secondary Schools in Kenya who peform below expectation are been advsierd to withdraw.

The first casualty are thirty-four girls of Nasokol Secondary School in West Pokot .

The girls, mostly footballers were sent home by their principal due to their poor performance.

The students, who are between Forms one and three, were camped at Kitale Showground and spent the night  under unfavourable climate conditions, were sent out of ther school by the new principal who decided to scrap the policies of her predecessor.

Her predecesor  encouraged those who excelled in sports by introducing waivers in  school fees payment and academic performance.

A parent of one of the affected students, Mr Saulo Tukoi, condemned the new development saying ,“We tried to reach a deal with the principal over modalities of starting to pay school fees but she was adamant, saying we are free to take our children elsewhere,”

  • The Situation in Nigeria is Uncertain-AWC

Untitled 23The All Workers Convergence(AWC) has raised alarm over the daily uncertainties that trail daily life in Nigeria.

The position of the AWC is contained in a Press Statement dated 25th June, 20206 and signed by its National Coordinator, Comrade Andrew Emelieze.

''Nigeria is currently in a state of despair; everyone is terrified and traumatized. We are all living in fear, and uncertainty has become the order of the day.

As federal workers, we are facing double tragedy and punishment under this dispensation—our salaries are abysmally low, and our lives are insecure.''

We are all terrorized, and institutions seem to be collapsing. No nation can make progress under these conditions.

There is an urgent need for a collective response to rescue our beloved country.

The government is showing signs of weakness and must step up to its responsibilities.

This is a call for responsible governance and we hope for a collective action in this regard.'' the AWC concluded.

    Be a Responsible Father( 32nd REMEMBRANCE-CHIFE D.A ADEWUMI-JUNE20TH 2026)

    Chief

Today, indiscipline, lawlessness, criminality, diabolism, treachery, betrayal, hypocrisy and evil are the values in society.

Indeed, children's upbringing by fathers and mothers has resulted in a very disturbing and pitiable situation.

Chief Adewumi was a responsible and upright father who adhered strictly to the principles of successful living and standards revolving around honesty, firmness, resolution, transparency, courage, humility, tolerance, endurance and perseverance, generosity and philanthropy.

Let us retrace our steps by becoming responsible and fathers, just like Chief Adewumi, who impacted positively on several lives, including mine.

Members of the same family are plotting evil against each other because of inheritance.

Spare the rod and spoil the child.

Let us make it a point of duty to guide people to Jesus Christ.

Only through Him can those with broken bodies, broken dreams, broken homes and broken hearts come to wholeness of life.

    No Positive Impact

    Oip 1 5

Life is full of predators, while most communities are at the mercy of the forces of darkness.

These criminals move freely because the government at all levels, the law enforcement and security agencies are complicit.

Indeed, indiscipline, lawlessness, all forms of crimes, criminality and evil which are the creation of the cronies, protégés, well-wishers, supporters and admirers of political office holders  which haves failed to positively impact on the lives of distraught citizens, are the legacies the leadership are about to leave behind.
