In sane climes, democracies thrive when law enforcement agencies are not converted to tools of repression and suppression.Indeed, the desperation to silence dissenting voices has overwhelmed good governance in this dispensation.
Insensitivity, impunity and non-chalance have never been components of democracies.
Sadly, however, these are the signposts of the present, in Africa's most populous black nation.
Everything has already gone wrong, as can be seen in unfolding events across the country.
Families are grieving, workers are disilluhioned, while the confused pupulace praye ceaselessly.
These are prelous times
